Local Careers

​Council's Digital, Creative and Financial Technologies Subgroup have developed a website detailing local employers, and 10 short videos, to help people understand the opportunities on our doorstep. We professionally revamped our digital map which highlights all digital, creative and financial technology companies within the North West. The map is interactive and if you click on each company logo/name, you can read a short introduction and contact information. This map will show students, parents and indeed teachers the vast array of businesses we have at our fingertips. www.homeground.me

We commissioned a series of ten videos to focused on spotlight themes. These videos showcase local people, working locally for local employers, with local and global impact. www.homeground.me/careers.html

These resources demonstrate that our young people have many opportunities in a multitude of digital, creative and fintech companies right here on our doorstep, to have prosperous careers.
