This site has information and resources about the CCEA Higher Tier GCSE Maths specification which all pupils at FSL follow.
All pupils will sit the M4 module which is a 2 hour paper, with calculator, which counts for 45% of the final GCSE grade.
All pupils will also sit the M7 or M8 module which are both 2 Ă— 1 hour 15 mins papers, one with and one without a calculator. The M7 or M8 module counts for 55% of the final GCSE grade.
Pupils doing GCSE Maths only will sit their M4 module in January 2023 and either M7 or M8 in Summer 2023.
For pupils doing GCSE Further Maths also, all GCSE Maths modules will be sat at the end of Year 11.
