How to install and register the app

Step 1 — Install the App

Parents should download the Eduspot app from:

• App Store (iOS)

• Google Play (Android)

Step 2 — Open the App and Enter Their Email Address

This must match what the school holds in its Downpatrick Primary School records.

Step 3 — Enter Their Mobile Number

Again, this must match the Downpatrick Primary School records .

Step 4 — Enter the 6‑Digit SMS Code

• The code is sent immediately to the parent’s mobile.

• If it doesn’t arrive, they can tap Resend Code after 5 minutes.

Step 5 — Create a Password

Parents will be asked to set a secure password after verifying their contact details.

Step 6 — Set a 4‑Digit App Passcode

Eduspot strongly recommends parents set a passcode to stay securely logged in.

• Enables quick access

• Allows push notifications to continue

• Can be replaced with device biometrics (Face ID, fingerprint)

Optional: Logging in via Desktop

Parents may also log in using a web browser. Go to www.eduspot.co.uk and select Sign in, then Eduspot Desktop Login

• The process is similar to mobile login but does not require a 4‑digit passcode.

This can be helpful for parents struggling with the app or those without smartphones.
