In 2020, nearly 82% of Ringling College students were registered to vote and 62% cast their ballots.
Florida’s next statewide election is Aug. 23. Although it is a primary election, you do not need to be registered as a Republican or a Democrat to vote for the nonpartisan races on the ballot. Some races will only appear on registered Republicans or registered Democrats ballots.
In Sarasota and Manatee counties, there are many races on the Aug. 23 ballot, so we encourage all eligible Ringling College students to turn out and vote.
You have three ways to vote:
Vote by mail. Any Ringling College student who is an eligible voter in Florida can vote by mail.
Vote during Early voting. Any Ringling College student who is an eligible voter in Florida can vote early.
Vote on Election Day. You must vote at your assigned polling location.
If you’re registered to vote in Florida elections, we’re here to help make sure you can vote with confidence in this election. Questions? Email vote@ringling.edu
