AP World History consists of two main elements: Content and Skills.
In this class, we will investigate significant events, individuals, developments, and processes from 1200 to the present [That's A LOT of history!].
We will also learn how to think and work like historians. You will develop and use the same skills, practices, and methods employed by historians: analyzing primary and secondary sources; developing historical arguments; making historical connections; and utilizing reasoning about comparison, causation, and continuity and change over time.
On a day-to-day basis, majority of the class will be handled through Google Classroom. However, this site is a helpful and organized location for students and parents/guardians to find useful information and resources regarding the course and the exam.
Syllabus has been reviewed in class with students.
Parents/guardians, please read the syllabus, sign, and return the Agreement Form. Feel free to contact Mrs. Ruvalcaba with any questions or concerns you may have.
