As a teacher, I have taught in Primary, Secondary, Special Educational Needs and Further Education settings. I have also managed a large department of tutors and set up provision for adults with disabilities and/or mental health illnesses at a Peterborough College.
In 2007 I started work for Cambridge County Council as a Special Needs Officer, writing and maintaining Statements of Special Educational Needs and then Education Health Care Plans for children and young adults 0-25 years old.
In 2018 I moved back to teaching at a local charity, Red 2 Green, where I work with adults with autism.
What I can bring to CPG:
Foremost I hope I can bring my empathy and passion to support those whom have found living in our society to be challenging, for whatever reasons. I would like to offer my knowledge and experience of working with adults who have additional needs and/or mental health difficulties to the CPG team.
