I joined CPG in 2019 to provide support due to the expansion of the Ely service. As with all CPG patches the Ely service objectives are aligned with the Charities aims.
As a fan of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, I believe that most problems can be solved once you have a foundation to work from, that foundation being a place to call home. My role is to provide tailored support to our resident’s individual needs. Other aspects of my role is to ensure residents have access to external services and agencies that they are entitled to and that can offer a greater sense of wellbeing and informed decision making.
My work history has been varied but always client centred, this includes teaching, coaching, support and legal advocacy work. My interests include Psychology, in relation to trauma response and recovery and am currently working towards an MSc in Cognition and Neuroscience. Nature is my therapist and can usually be found outdoors when not working or studying.
