Charting a Course for the Future of Our Community
Welcome! The City of Littlefork is working on a new Comprehensive Plan to guide the city's growth and development for the next ten to twenty years. You can use this site to contribute your ideas and comments, learn more about the project, and connect with us.
The June 12 Public Workshop was a great success! We had about thirty people attend - thank you to everyone who came and contributed to the conversation!
You can find results from the workshop here:

Results from the map exercise
Is there a place in town where you think new housing should be built? Or where crossing the street is difficult? Or where a bike trail should go? Or a new snowmobile trail?
Use our interactive online map (Wikimap) to add your ideas and comments for Littlefork's future - including places you like, places where there are problems or issues you'd like the plan to address, and places for which you have ideas for improvement. And also, to add walking, biking, and snowmobile routes you would use if they existed or were improved.
We received more than 150 responses to our survey for the Comprehensive Plan! The survey was quick and simple, with just three questions:
What do you like the most about living or working in Littlefork?
What do you not like about living or working in Littlefork? What are some issues we should address?
What ideas do you have for making Littlefork a better place to live, work in or visit?
We received an amazing and very useful set of answers! Please take a look at the report here to download all results!
The community survey to get ideas for our new Comprehensive Plan is closing in ONE WEEK! (on Friday May 23).
If you haven't had a chance to participate yet please do so before it closes!
You can find the survey here: https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8196421/Survey1-Your-ideas-about-Littlefork
We're excited to invite you to the Littlefork Comprehensive Plan's first public workshop!
The workshop will take place at the the Littlefork Community Center on Thursday, June 12 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
The planning team will provide an overview of the planning process and will lead fun and interactive activities to receive your comments and guidance for the plan's direction and the priorities it should consider.
Please fill out this brief, one page survey ( link > ) to help orient the plan and its work.
We'll use your comments and ideas to develop the plan's vision and ideas, including its recommendations.
Thank you for your comments and ideas!
Work on the city's new Comprehensive Plan has begun!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Blandin Foundation, the city hired Saint Paul planning firm Community Design Group (who developed the plan for International Falls) to work closely with residents and City Staff to develop our plan.
