Byron High School's Prom is Saturday, April 25th, 2026 at Somerby Golf Club. Students may arrive at 6:00 p.m. (no earlier) and dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. The dance will start at 8:00 p.m. and end at 11:00 p.m.
Criteria & Guidelines
All Byron students in grades 11-12 who are in good standing can attend prom. If a Byron 10th-grade student is asked to attend prom by an 11th or 12th-grade student as their guest, they may attend.
All guests must have graduated from high school within the last two years and be under 21 years of age at the time of Prom. All out-of-town guests must complete a guest permission form.
All non-Byron students who are invited to prom and who are in grades 10, 11, or 12 will need to have the High School Principal from their school sign a permission form stating that they are a student in good standing.
Any student who brings a guest to Prom will be responsible for the behavior of their guest.
Each Byron student may bring one pre-approved guest.
Completed guest permission requests must be returned to the office by April 10, 2026.
No alcohol consumption of any kind, usage of controlled substances, smoking/vaping of any kind, before, during or after the dance, regardless of the age of the guest.
All School District #531 policies and rules must be followed as Prom is a school-sponsored event.
Students are not allowed to leave the dance and re-enter.
Your guest from out of town will need to fill out the BHS Prom Guest Form
Monday, March 30th - Wednesday April 8th
You MUST PAY right after you register for Prom (link to pay will be given when you click submit)
Tickets are 65$ per person - There is NO couple rate.
7:30-7:55am
Tuesday, April 7th - Friday April 10th
(Ms. Feldman's classroom #3336).
You will register for Prom in the classroom (Chromebook provided) and then pay in person
Checks can be made out to Byron High School
