WELCOME TO 4TH gRADE!

My name is Alyssa Cordes and I am excited to be back for another year at Byron Intermediate School! I was raised right here in Byron, Minnesota and graduated from Byron High School. After graduation, I went to Winona State University for two years, then transferred to Minnesota State University, Mankato where I received my Bachelor's in Science degree in Elementary Education. After completing my undergraduate degree, I moved back to Byron and enjoyed substitute teaching for two year. During this time, I began my graduate program and Minnesota State University, Mankato where I later received my Master's Degree in Reading Education. After substitute teaching in the Byron area, I was excited when I was able to join the Byron Public Schools as a full-time teacher! My husband Luke, daughter Kylie and I live south of Byron, but we enjoy being a part of the community! I have taught 6th grade, but am excited to be back in 4th grade for another great year!
