BMS Design Studio is a year-long program that aims to connect students with their community in a way that they haven’t experienced before. Starting with foundational skills in the design process and content-specific technical work, students will have unique goals set each quarter that begins with fundraising through the sales of custom, student-made products. Both the STEM classes and Industrial Tech class work together to build up to a culminating final project with the aim of transforming the community.

We're incredibly proud to announce the successful culmination of our 8th-grade "Investing in Our Community: The BMS Design Studio Impact Project"! Our Design Studio students worked hard all year fundraising, researching local charities, and presenting their pitches to decide where our collective $8,000 should go. Thanks to their dedication and community votes, we're thrilled to be donating $6,000 to Adapta, $1,000 to Oxbow Park & Zollman Zoo, and $1,000 to Hope Lodge! We're so inspired by our students' passion for making a real difference in our local area. What an incredible way to see philanthropy in action!
