MSHSL - Sports Qualifying Physical Eligibility Form  

All students must have a current physical on file to participate in middle school and high school athletics. The physical is good for three years from the date of exam. MSHSL Sports Physicals completed between June 12 - July 13, 2026. should be dropped off at the District Office, mailed to the Byron High School Attn: Activities Office, or scanned and emailed to cristina.zabel@byron.k12.mn.us.

Parent and Athlete Coaches (PAC) Meeting- All Seasons Required to Attend

This will be a one-time meeting for all athletes and a parent to attend if competing in fall, winter or spring sports.  

Date: Monday, August 10th - 6 PM 

Location: Byron High School Scheels Gymnasium


2026 Tryout Information for C, JV, and V Level Teams

Location: BHS Gyms

Monday, August 17th 8:30am-12:00pm

Tuesday, August 18th 8:30am-12:00pm

Wednesday, August 19th 8:30am-12:00pm


7th/8th grade players do not need to attend tryouts unless they are interested in trying out for a HS (high school) level team. If 7th/8th grade players are not trying out for a HS team, they just need to pay attention to when the 1st day of practice is (info coming soon).
