Consistency and trust are essential! That’s why we have devoted one super awesome Lead Preschool Teacher and several of our wonderful Program Assistants explicitly to our PK Teddy Bears Program. Our preschool children’s wellbeing is their #1 responsibility. You can be assured, the Project Kids Program Coordinator is also fully committed to providing a quality experience to all of our Teddy Bears and their parents and guardians.
Comfy blankets are, well… comfy! One of the ways we provide a comfortable atmosphere is by providing a nicely decorated and supplied classroom that is dedicated only to our Teddy Bears; this cozy room embraces everything preschool, and beyond. Another way, of course, is by inviting children to keep a blanket and "stuffie" in their PK Teddy Bears classroom for quick access to something familiar and cuddly.
Small group sizes are awesome! The PK Teddy Bears Program maintains a 1-to-10-or-better ratio (i.e., one fantastic PK helper for ten-or-fewer charming preschoolers). This allows our staff and youngest students to better succeed in their everyday opportunities.
There are a limited number of enrollment spots available for each of the care options for Teddy Bears. Enrollment applications will be largely prioritized by preschool class selections, date/time received, and number of care days needed. If maximum capacity for an option is reached, a waiting list will be generated.
All preschoolers who are enrolled in the PK Teddy Bears Program must have a set schedule of anticipated attendance for the school year, via contract. Your child’s schedule/contract will be based on the care option(s) and specific days you indicate on their enrollment application. Your child’s pre-arranged schedule will be directly used each week for billing purposes, regardless if they attend or not (excludes days PK is closed).
