BHS art Team

I love teaching and learning about art! My favorite mediums to work with are colored pencil and clay. I enjoy spending time outside and love to travel with my family! My favorite outdoor activities are hiking, camping and kayaking.

I have been teaching art to students in kindergarten through 12th grade. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in art education from Winona State University in 2008 and earned my master's degree in teaching and learning from Saint Mary's University in 2015.

I graduated from Winona State University with a B.S. in Art Education. I also have a B.A. Art (studio option: Emphasis in Ceramics and Painting)2004. I am very excited to be here and I couldn’t be happier. I continued my education and got my Masters in Education through Saint Mary's State University 2015. I believe in having students having real world experience, community interaction and the process of the Minnesota Visual Art Standards.
