Where do you operate?
Mainly home counties, London and Greater London. However, feel free to get in touch and we can discuss your needs wherever you are as we have even taken on jobs abroad before. We are flexible.
What are the timelines from order to installation?
It is difficult to be definitive as every order is different. We strive to move as quickly as possible from survey to order to sourcing to installation. We will provide an estimated timeline at the time of survey and keep in regular contact if timings change.
Are separate builders required for conservatory foundations for example?
We have relationships with many reputable and reliable builders and other traders that we can align to the job or if you'd prefer to use your own builders we can work directly with them.
Do you offer a guarantee?
10 year guarantee on window frames. Glass to be discussed dependent on circumstances.
How secure are the windows & doors?
We use the highest quality products with multi-locking systems, adhering to industry wide security protocols. UPVC frames contain aluminium support frames within, adding strength. Toughened glass or laminated glass used in all doors and ground floor windows as necessary. UPVC Door panels have a supporting MDF inner layer ensuring strength and security. Will there be damage internally or externally during the installation?
We are extremely careful when removing existing windows for replacement and our wealth of experience means there is no damage roughly 90% of the time. There will always be the possibility that a removal could prove difficult and a tile could be broken, for example. However, rest assured that the end result will not show any imperfections. Plaster & rendering will be replaced in keeping with what's currently there.
Do you require a deposit?
Case by case dependent on the job. This will be discussed and clearly laid out during the survey and quote process.
What are the benefits of replacing my windows?
Obviously there is the aesthetic value of new windows and doors or additional space from a new conservatory but more practically, double glazed windows will improve the energy efficiency of your home (18% of heat loss is through windows) and reduce outside noise from roads, trains etc. At a time where energy prices are at an all time high, investment now will pay off in the long term.
