Musical Theatre

Musical theatre is a highly rewarding but demanding program of study requiring an exceptionally high level of talent, determination, emotional resiliency and an ability to handle rejection.  Musical Theatre program curriculum includes coursework in acting, dance, voice, musical theatre performance and audition technique, theatre and musical theatre history, technical theatre, music theory, and piano.  Students develop their skills in a structured program that includes one-on-one mentorship and guidance.   Some students choose to major in voice at college with a strong musical theatre program where they can develop both their vocal and acting talent.  Admissions to musical theatre programs are primarily audition-driven, but students are required to meet general admissions requirements.
