Wampus Summer Reading

The summer is finally here. Time to kick back, relax, and enjoy a good book!  We are pleased to offer you a list of great summer reading choices for all children.  Our mission is to nurture our students’ life-long love of reading by providing suggestions that will appeal to all readers. The summer provides a great opportunity to explore new authors, topics, and genres, as well as provide opportunities for quality family time.

There is no required reading, but please encourage your child to spend time reading every day. Have them choose books about their favorite things to do, places they want to see, or topics they want to explore. The books they choose should make them laugh or be surprised, or make them wonder and ask questions.

Below there are lists of suggested books for summer reading for children entering grades 3, 4, and 5 in September 2023. Your child may choose any book from any list. We designed the lists to highlight recent releases, popular series, and quality non-fiction. We are sure there is something on this list for everyone!
