This Privacy Policy explains what data the Novium Chrome extension ("Novium", "we", "the extension") collects, how it is used, and your choices. Novium is a tool for Amazon sellers that analyzes the seller's own Amazon business data (Search Query Performance, advertising, and product listings) to produce research, performance dashboards, audits, and optimization recommendations.
Account information (Personally identifiable information & Authentication information). When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. The password is transmitted to our sign‑in backend and stored only as a secure one‑way hash; we never store your password in plain text. This information is used solely to authenticate you and to control which tools your account may access.
Amazon business data (Website content). When you use the extension's features, Novium reads content from the Amazon pages you open — for example your Brand Analytics Search Query Performance reports, product listing fields (title, bullets), and advertising data. This is your own Amazon business data. It is stored locally on your device (in your browser) so the dashboards can display and persist it between sessions.
We do not collect health information, financial or payment information, personal communications, location, browsing history, or user‑activity logs (clicks, scrolling, keystrokes).
Local processing and storage. Your imported reports, audit results, settings, and session are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) and used to render the dashboards. This data is not transmitted to us.
Authentication backend. Your name, email, and hashed password are stored in our secure sign‑in backend (a Google Apps Script web application) only to authenticate you and manage tool access.
Optional Google Sheets/Drive export. If you choose to export results, you sign in with your own Google account (OAuth, limited drive.file and spreadsheets scopes) and the exported data is written to your own Google Sheets/Drive.
Optional AI analysis. If you choose to run an AI analysis, the relevant listing/keyword data is sent to the AI provider you have configured (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or DeepSeek) for the sole purpose of generating the recommendations you requested.
These optional transfers occur only when you actively use those features and only to provide the feature you requested.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not transfer your data to third parties except to the service providers above (your own Google account and the AI provider you configure) strictly to deliver the features you request. We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Locally stored data remains in your browser until you clear it, sign out, or remove the extension. Account information stored in our sign‑in backend is retained while your account is active. To request deletion of your account data, contact us using the details above.
Passwords are stored only as salted one‑way hashes. Access to extension tools is gated by account approval and per‑tool permissions. Network requests use HTTPS.
Novium is a business tool intended for Amazon sellers and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
