Yes! Instead of synchronous class on Friday, the school leadership approves of this day of fun and games. You must attend the team morning meeting at 9 AM and one game/activity for each mission. In contrast, attendance is not mandatory for any of the activities during the breaks.

First, you will go to your respective team meeting at 9AM in the morning. Your team captains will send you the link but the links for each team will be on this website in the tabs "Team & Team Captains" and "Schedule & Zoom Links." Your attendance will be taken at this meeting and on the official school form so make sure to fill that out as well during the team meeting! Then at 9:30 AM, you will complete an activity for your first mission. You can choose any of the activities offered at this time on the "Schedule & Zoom Links" page. Each activity listed has a dropdown button that you can click to access the Zoom Links for that activity. Attendance will be taken in the first mission. You will then have a break from 10:10 AM to 11:00 AM. During this break, optional activities called Teacher Features will be offered. If you attend Teacher Features you will earn more points for your team and if you are active and participate during these Teacher Features, you will also earn points for yourself and have a chance to win the MVP title for your team. You will have to attend another activity at 11 AM for your second mission. Please repeat the process for the second mission and check the "Schedule & Zoom Links" page. Attendance will be taken in the second mission. You will have another break from 11:40AM to 1PM which will also consist of the Teacher Features and the same rules will apply. Your last mission will be at 1PM where you choose another activity. Please repeat the process for the final mission and check the "Schedule & Zoom Links" page. Attendance will be taken in the third and final mission. You will have a break from 1:40 PM to 2PM, but this time there will be no Teacher Features! Instead, you will just be awaiting for the Closing Ceremony at 2PM! At the Closing Ceremony, there will be voting for the Minecraft Building Competition and Bob Ross Painting Competition, special guests, and the announcement of winners!

There is no sign up involved! On the day of the Clash of the Colors, you can choose any game and click the Zoom links on the Schedule tab on this website. Another VERY IMPORTANT thing: Although this isn't a first step, please make sure that when you are in the Zoom Links, your name in the Zoom meetings during each mission is your name and your team color in parenthesis. Ex: Ahona Rana (Red)

We would prefer if you log in through your Bronx Science google account when logging into Zoom. This way you can get more points for your team use virtual backgrounds and filters which are disabled by the DOE.

The MVP will be determined based on their participation during the 9 A.M. team meeting and the amount of points they score for their team throughout the day! Another important factor will be how many teacher features they attend in between their missions and how often they participate in them!

Yes! If you are in any of the homerooms in the winning team you can pick one prize from any of the prizes from the prize list! Even if you are not part of the winning team, the MVP's of each team can pick one prize from any of the prizes from the prize list!

You will only be able to go to ONE activity per time slot. This means you can only choose one activity to attend to at 9:30 AM, go to a different one at 11AM, and another different one at 1PM.

No! Don’t worry about your choices on the interest form! It was just that- an interest form to gauge everyone’s favorite games so we can decide on which games to offer. You will have the option to pick any game on the day of the Clash of the Colors!
