Understanding evolution is fundamental to the study of Biology and Comparative Anatomy. In this unit, we will be looking at Darwin's theory of Natural Selection and how this laid the framework for the modern Evolutionary Synthesis. We will also look at the primary principles of evolution, types of evidence, public understanding, and how the theory has changed over time. In this unit we will also learn how to interpret and create cladograms, which will be a vital skill for the remainder of the course.
