Meet the Computer Science Team

I am Mrs Damodaran, Lead in Computer Science at Buller’s Wood School for Boys, have taught computer science at Buller’s Wood for girls. I have obtained my formal education with a Master’s in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, and a Post Graduate in Netcentric Computing and I am a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD). After spending 10 years working in banking and the finance sector developing Business Intelligence (BI) Technologies and heading a partnership business in the Retail and Petroleum sector, I decided to pursue my passion for teaching computer science and subsequently trained as a Computer Science teacher.

As a computer science teacher, I seek to transform my students from users to creators, by providing students with an education that combines academic study and intellectual stimulation and by teaching the concepts of computer science that are shaping the modern world and economy.

My name is Mr. Fisher and I am a Computer Science Teacher at Bullers Wood School for Boys. The students here are fantastic and make every day something special. I worked for 3 years professionally coding before making the move into teaching.

I love everything to do with computers from how a CPU functions to how networks protect themselves from viruses. I find coding particularly fun and enjoy making programs to assist with teaching. I hope to install the same fascination I have with my subject to the students that I teach.

Outside of School I'm a self proclaimed Neek (Nerd + Geek). I enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons. Playing Video games when I get the chance and Enjoy anything related to superhero's, whether it is DC, Marvel or Image Comics.
