Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is committed to ensuring the privacy of our foster parent’s personal information. We will not sell, share or trade our foster parent's names or personal information with any other entity, nor do we share personal information with our shelter partners or veterinary partners. This policy applies to all information received by BWAR, both online and offline, on any Platform, as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.

Mobile Opt In, SMS Consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS comunciation purposes will not be shared to third party or affiliates for marketing purposes. 

What information we collect
Brother Wolf collects personal informatoin that foster parents willingly provide through our Foster Parent Sign-Up Form, which may include:

• Full Name

• Phone Number

• Email Address

• Physical Address

• Information related to fostering availalibility

We only collect information that is necessary to support foster placements in accordance with the regulations set fourth by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Brother Wolf's policies and procedures for foster parents. 

How we use your information

Information collected is used solely for operational purposes related to fostering with Brother Wolf, including:

• Communicating about medical needs, updates, and care instructions for foster animals

• Coordinating appointments, treamtnet, and emergency needs

• Providing time-sensitive updates related to the animal in your care. 

Phone numbers used through our SMS text messaging system are used exclusively to communicate with you directly about foster animals. We do not use phone numbers or SMS text message communications for marketing, solicitation, or other unrelated communcations. 

Text Messaging & SMS Consent

By providing your phone number through the foster parent sign-up form, you concent to receive text message communcations from the Brother Wolf Medical and Foster Teams related to foster animal care and coordination. 

You may opt out of SMS Communication at any time by notifying a Brother Wolf staff member or replying "STOP" to any message. 

What rights you have over your data

If you have a profile with Brother Wolf as a foster parent, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Changes
Brother Wolf Animal Rescue reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
