The Stay Together program at Brother Wolf is a temporary foster-based boarding program for our community members. We understand that pets are family, and their safety is a priority. We will try to accommodate our temporary boarding services for the following situations:
Situations involving domestic violence
Temporary homelessness due to loss of income or other emergency
Short-term hospitalization or illness
Other unexpected emergences
Brother Wolf Animal Rescue cannot guarantee placement for accepted applications within our program, despite our best efforts. As a foster-based program, placement for pets enrolled in this program depends solely on the availability, skills, and willingness of our approved foster homes. If accepted, we can house pets for up to 30 days. Upon acceptance, The Stay Together client must have a 30-day plan that includes securing pet-friendly housing as the goal of the program is reunification.
Requirements to be considered for the program:
Animal(s) must be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. If the animal(s) does not meet this qualification, the owner must authorize Brother Wolf to perform these services.
Applicant must agree to the terms of the program
If the owner can not reclaim their pet after 90 days, the animal(s) will be surrendered to Brother Wolf and we will place the animal(s) for adoption.
