About me
This is my sixth year at Broomfield High School! I am so thrilled to be here and teach all of you. I'm originally from small town Iowa. After I graduated high school (a looooong time ago) I joined the Army. I was a Morse code operator and interceptor for 10 years and I lived in Arizona, Colorado, and Germany. After I got out of the military, I went to college at the University of Colorado-Boulder and majored in Integrative Physiology and Psychology (with emphasis in neuroscience) and a Masters of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado-Denver. I have lived in Colorado for 19 years and will NEVER leave. I have an amazing husband who is in the Marine Corps, a 21 year old step-son, and 12 year old twins. I love to camp, hike, read books, cook, hang out with my family, and listen to true crime and science podcasts!
I'm so excited to get to know all of you. We are going to have an amazing time in Physical Science, AP Physics, and General Physics this year. Get ready to have fun, stay focused, and learn so much about science!
