About Me

Mr. W. was born in Munich, Germany to parents that survived the Holocaust. He came to America when he was 6 weeks old. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York, started art lessons at the Brooklyn Museum, and went to Brooklyn Technical High School. He wanted to play college football as well as pursue art and creative writing and did all three at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio earning a Bachelor of General Studies. He met his wife in the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area and has two daughters.

Mr. W Swims the Yuba in the summer of 2017: I went swimming in the clear crisp blue/green waters of the Yuba River, running strong in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. "The Yuba" is a gathering place for enjoying the outdoors.

Mr. W. went to New York in the summer of 2016 and was there when his daughter had a son...now he's a grandparent! His name is Rowan Wojczuk Landfair. Hooray!

I also visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the new Whitney Museum of American Art, and saw the original off Broadway production of “SeaWife” created by and starring a former SES student Tony Vo.
