Mrs. Bunting and Mrs. Livingston teamed up with the Kitchen Chemistry classes and taught students about the importance of seed saving.
Mrs. Livingston worked with students in elementary to plant seedlings for a spring harvest.
Matt Freshour, parent of a current 7th grader, built these beautiful compost bins. Students will be learning how to compost in our community garden.
Mrs. Bunting, Mrs. Livingston and Mrs. Lefebvre worked with 7th graders to plan and paint four beautiful garden murals. Come and take a look!

Earth Day Virtual Science Experiments
Thursday, April 22nd 5:30-6:30
P2P students and their parent/guardians are invited to join the Peak to Peak Learning Garden team to explore some garden-themed science projects in celebration of Earth Day. Each registered student will receive a packet of free materials needed to participate in the projects. Projects are generally appropriate for K-5.
-3 garden science projects:
- Compare natural polymers with synthetic polymers
- Explore how plants drink
- Set up an experiment to explore how plants follow the sun.
