I am a Colorado Native. I graduated from Northglenn High School and attended CU-Boulder. I received my degree in Mathematics and a secondary teaching certificate. I taught my first year at Westlake Junior High before moving to Lake Havasu, AZ where I taught for five years. I moved back to Colorado in 1998 and have been teaching at Broomfield High School since then. In my years at Broomfield I have been assistant coach for boys/girls soccer, obtained my Masters in Secondary Education and became a National Board Certified Teacher.
I have been married since 2007. My husband and I have no children, unless I get to count my fuzzy girl, Chloe, a golden retriever. We are very fortunate to be avid travelers. I have traveled to New Zealand, Australia, Africa (Uganda, Zimbabwe, Botswana, S. Africa), Thailand, Nepal, Tibet, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Tahiti/Moorea/BoraBora, Aruba, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia, Grand Cayman, Belize and Mexico. In addition to traveling, I enjoy hiking, biking, photography, and music (listening, not making).
