Meet Mrs. Morreale

Erika Morreale, M.Ed.

Erika, originally from Ohio, went to college at Saint Mary’s University of Winona, Minnesota. When she is not teaching, she can be found running, spending time with her husband, Carl, and golden retriever, Aspen. This year she is excited to collaborate with the primary team and be a first grade learner.
Erika has been a dedicated educator since 2000. She has taught 3,4,5 grades in Louisiana, Illinois, and came to Boulder Valley School District in 2005. During her time in BVSD she has taught 3rd and 5th grades at Coal Creek, was an Educational Technology Specialist for six years, and most recently taught 5th grade at Ryan STEAM Elementary. She is known for implementing technology and the growth mindset into her student’s daily education. She enjoys helping students realize how exciting and innovating learning can be. She is grateful to the Coal Creek community for welcoming her home!

Volunteering

We love and accept volunteers; however, in order to volunteer, one MUST have:

TC Logic background check. This background check needs to be renewed each year. (Online-$17)

Fingerprints

-The district offers fingerprinting and background checks at the district office. There is a $40.00 processing fee. You may also go through the police departments or sheriffs office as well. The fee is $10 to go to the police or sheriffs department on your own. However, you still have to pay the BVSD $40 processing fee. - Finger prints, last the duration of your child’s educational career in Boulder Valley School District.
