Between planning and grading for my English classes, I like to read (obviously), watch tv/movies, and listen to music. I appreciate art and storytelling in all forms. I also love to hike or camp when I have the time.

My favorite part of teaching is being able to connect with the students about their interests or hobbies. I believe that we all become better and more well-rounded people when we engage with each other and learn about things that we otherwise wouldn't have known anything about.
