Audition Help

Come at least 10 minutes early

Be prepared!  Have your material memorized and well-rehearsed

Be ready for call-backs if you are chosen…you will be doing cold readings and possible improve

Warm up before auditions

Fill out an application (attached) or at the desk on audition day

Sign up for an audition slot (on Theatre board)

Know that even if you are not called back, it doesn’t necessarily mean you weren’t cast

Be confident and ready!

Perform a monologue from a television show or movie or an original monolgue you wrote

Improv all of your monologue

Get upset if you blank…simply take a breath and pick up from where you last remember

Use props

Use an accent

Be overwhelmingly upset if you are not cast in the show….try, try, try, try, try again!!!!!
