Mindfulness
This year we will be working with our students to nurture mindfulness and the growth mindset. Students will be learning skills that will help them think critically and solve problems. We will work on tracking and balancing our emotions. Mindful practices can help students with focused attention as well as empathy, resilience and self compassion. Growth mindset is the belief that a person's abilities and intelligence can be developed through practice, hard work, dedication and motivation. Children with a positive growth mindset are more likely to learn form their mistakes, take risks, be motivated to succeed, seek feedback, put forth more effort, learn more and seek challenges.
