Fireside’s Annual Nicky/Nicki Run will kick off on April 23! Each year, we gather as a community to walk or run and raise money for Children’s Hospital Colorado in memory of Nicky Lizakowski, a Fireside student who lost his battle with cancer, and Nicole (Nicki) Haley, a Fireside student who passed away in 2013.
This year, students from each class will walk or run around the field during the school day to kick off a virtual weekend event. (And get those colorful socks ready, because April 23 will be Funky Sock Day in honor of Nicky and Nicki!) Remote learners will attend a virtual Nicky/Nicki Run hosted by Ms. Pazour from 12:00-12:15ish (possibly a bit longer) at this link: https://meet.google.com/uhk-sres-yfu
Similar to last year, we encourage families to walk or run together any time over the weekend, April 24-25, and we'd love to post your photos!
