Voicethread
What is a VoiceThread?
Hints for Using VoiceThread:
- The best ways to add content are through .jpegs and .pdf (pictures and document files)
- A great workaround: downloading a Google Presentation or Drawing as a .jpeg, or saving a PowerPoint as a .jpeg
- Making PowerPoint slides into .jpeg: http://www.screencast.com/t/e6kSQmc4NJi
- Videos from YouTube don't work (yet!). The way to use video with this is a webcam or uploading your own video created from your mobile device, iPad or camera.
- The purpose of VoiceThread centers around collaboration--it's storytelling with multiple authors and "vodcasting" (video podcasting).
