I grew up in Wilmington, Delaware before heading off to college at Boston University, where I graduated in 2003 with a BA in History and in International Relations. After a few years working in the private sector, I realized my calling was in teaching and returned to school at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, to earn my Masters of Education degree. I then spent two years teaching history in Durham, North Carolina and six years teaching history in Cambridge, MA, before moving to the Boulder area with my family in August 2016.
I live in Louisville with my husband, Paul, our two amazing children, Pierce and Mallory, and our Cockapoo, Pepper. We love our lifestyle in Colorado and spend a lot of time hiking, camping and exploring, meeting friends, and being outside as much as possible enjoying all the Colorado sunshine.
