Paula Seifried

Head Coach

Been Head Coach since 2019 for Brighton.

Married to an amazing man, Derek Seifried who is a stem teacher in the district at Prairie View Middle School.

Has two beautiful kids Naomi and Isaiah.

Coached and started the program at Trinidad State Junior College and was there for 5 years. Coached at Broomfield HS for 14 years.

Played softball & volleyball at Huron University (2 years), played softball, volleyball and basketball at Northland Community & Junior College (2 years).

Phil Kesler

Varsity Assistant

Been coaching at BHS since 2019, but has been coaching for over 20 years. He has coached softball at Northglenn, Broomfield and now Brighton!

He has a beautiful wife, Joyce; and three amazing kids, Willie, Jenny and Jeff and 5 grand kids.

Traci Mercher

Co-Head JV/Varsity Assistant

Traci has been coaching softball since 2020 but she is has experience far beyond those years. She has coached volleyball, basketball, and softball.

Traci is a PE Teacher here at BHS.

Devin Zaragoza

Co-Head JV/Varsity Assistant

Devin has been coaching with us since 2023. She played at Texas Tech and is now a personal trainer at Aims Community College.

Volunteer Varsity Assistant

This is Caitlin's first year coaching with us. She is a BHS grad and played softball for us and we are so excited to have her back. She played a year at a JUCO in California and learned a lot and got a lot of amazing experiences. She is going to continue her education, work and help us out this year!!!
