BVSD Accounts will be Deactivated on June 14th
Chromebooks and BVSD accounts for graduating seniors will be deactivated on June 14th. Take action now if you want to save any important emails, computer files, etc. Once your Google/IC accounts are deactivated, you will not be able to access these accounts. You should complete these steps by the end of May.
Your email/Google/IC accounts will be deactivated on June 14th, so you will not have any access after that. We highly recommend students use Google Takeout to create an archive of their data in Gmail. Be sure to:
Forward all needed emails from your BVSD Gmail to your personal email.
Notify all contacts, including colleges, that your email address has changed from your BVSD Gmail to your personal email.
Copy all needed files from your BVSD Google Drive to your personal Google Drive.
Use Google Takeout: allows you to transfer your files to a personal Google account. Only email and Google Drive files. This is not supported by IT.
See the specific instructions regarding your 1:Web Chromebook: CLASS OF 2026: Files & Deprovisioning for Seniors.
Seniors can keep their Chromebook after graduation or donate it to Broomfield High. There will be a crate in the Main Office for donations.
We encourage and expect ALL students to have a BVSD issued Chromebook.
Many school exams are done ONLY on BVSD issued Chromebooks.
If your student does not have one, there are limited loaners in some teacher
classrooms.

Dear Broomfield High School Community,
I am pleased to share that beginning with the Class of 2019, students at Broomfield High School will each receive a Chromebook as a part of the 1:Web Chromebook Initiative. The Boulder Valley School District selected Broomfield to continue this important 1:Web Chromebook initiative, as a result of our school’s current innovative instructional approaches and our thoughtful exploration of expanding learning opportunities within the classroom and beyond.
With the opportunity for individual web access, students will increase communication, expand collaboration, ask new questions, and create new solutions. The 1:Web Chromebook Initiative will further Broomfield High School’s mission to create educated, engaged, empowered, and compassionate participants in a global society.
On behalf of the Broomfield High School Faculty, we look forward to taking this journey together.
