Enjoy this video featuring a special STEM project our team completed a few years ago with Ned Elementary 4th graders and Jamestown Elementary students. This PBL unit was funded with a federal STEM grant both schools received and is recognized by the Colorado Department of Education.
We studied the affects after the 2013 flood in Jamestown, focusing on how animals, plants, and humans in the area adapted after the flood. Students worked on this project throughout the entire school year and helped rebuild a recreational area along the creek in Jamestown.
