Bow Valley Riding Association

The Bow Valley Riding Association is a non-profit organization based in Canmore, Alberta. The Association leases 135 acres of provincial land just east of the townsite, which is comprised of 34 privately-held paddocks, 3 arenas, and access to many trails in the Canmore area. We have offered affordable spaces for the community to keep and ride personal horses for over 56 years!

Associate memberships are available to residents of Alberta. Voting memberships are required for all paddock holders and paddock share persons. In order to be a paddock holder, your primary residence must be within the Bow Valley communities of Harvie Heights, Canmore, Exshaw, or Deadman's Flats.

We are a private club and we do not rent horses or provide trail rides for the general public.
