BIO: Welcome to Team 6-5!  We share a unique experience for two reasons: One, I am new to Ray Middle School. I am in my third year here at Ray Middle School as a 6th grade Science teacher. We can embark on this journey together! In addition, I attended Ray Middle School as a 6 & 7th grader and I am happy to be back as a Baldwinsville Bee. This will be my 14th year of teaching. I graduated from SUNY Cortland where I played 4 years of lacrosse and earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I got my Master’s degree in Special Education from Long Island University. I spend the majority of my time outdoors with my two children, ages, 8 & 11. I cannot wait to discuss and explore different concepts of Science which include: Ecosystems (nature), Space Exploration, and Matter and Its Interactions.

BIO: Welcome to Ray Middle School! You are going to LOVE it here. I am going into my 24th year of teaching at Ray. I attended Syracuse University and SUNY Oswego where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and SUNY Oswego where I earned my Masters Degree in Literacy K-12. I have two kids, one sophmore at Bakerand one freshman at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). I have a Mini Bernedoodle named Dunkin. I love teaching Math and hope you will love it as much as I do. Ray is a wonderful school and I know you will make a lot of happy memories here. Team 6-5 is the best!

BIO: Welcome to 6th grade! I'm so excited you are on Team 6-5 this year! I am going into my 10th year of teaching and my 8th year at Ray. I am a proud Baldwinsville alumnus which means I even attended Ray Middle School myself back in the day! I have my BS from SUNY Geneseo and my MST from SUNY Oswego. I love teaching ELA and social studies. I can't wait to read engaging texts and learn all about ancient civilizations together.

I have 2 children, Addison and Avery, who attend Ray Middle School and Durgee Junior High. I teach ELA and Social Studies for our team and I can't wait to share all of my favorite books with you!

BIO: We are so excited that you will be joining our 6-5 team!  I am going into my 21st year of teaching. I attended Syracuse University where I earned my undergraduate degree in inclusive childhood education and then got my master’s degree in literacy from SUNY Albany. I have two kids: a boy in seventh grade and a girl who is in third grade.  This summer we have been going on bike rides (often to get ice cream) and enjoying the fun we can find in our backyard!  Transitioning to Ray Middle School means going through some changes but we find that after the initial apprehension, students really love it!
