Our goal with this part of the Friday @ 5:00 is to give you, as the parent(s), resources to have conversations about Jesus, with your family.

Jesus, God the Son, is one member of the perfect Trinity which is comprised of, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Our time in Chapel was spent focusing on the passages in Scripture where Jesus claims to be God. We finished with a focus on Hebrews 1 where the author states that Jesus is the exact imprint of God the Father. Meaning, Jesus is of the same nature and divinity as God the Father.

This weekend, take a moment to discuss with your child(ren), the importance of Jesus being God and what that means for Christianity.
