GOLF TOURNAMENT RECAP:

What a great day! We had a full group of golfers out at Del Rio on Monday, 9/13. The day was full of sun, fun, and fellowship all while raising money for the BVCS IMPACT Fund which provides additional resources to academics, staffing, innovation, athletics/theatre arts, and tuition assistance. Here are a few fun facts:

  • 116 golfers

  • 5 student volunteers

  • 4 parent/grandparent volunteers

  • 3 school board member volunteers

  • 4 student golfers

  • We raised over $20,000 for the BVCS IMPACT Fund

Our next fundraiser will involve all of YOU! Nov 1 - 18 is our Do-A-Thon.

COVID PROCEDURE UPDATE:

Masks:

BVCS has not changed its mask policy at this time.

What happens if there is a positive case and my child has to quarantine?

If there is a quarantine, BVCS will communicate to families that are directly impacted. Although there are so many scenarios, the current general quarantine guidelines are:

    • Quarantine can end after Day 10 from the date of last exposure without testing; OR

    • Quarantine can end after Day 7 if a diagnostic specimen is collected after Day 5 from the date of last exposure and tests negative.

    • BVCS will offer distance zoom learning in the event of a classroom quarantine.

    • Public Health (or a representing organization) may call parents of quarantined students to follow up.

We have updated this information in our Opening Plan found here.
