Our goal with this part of the Friday @ 5:00 is to give you, as the parent(s), resources to have conversations about Jesus, with your family.

Today, we talked about God and how He is sovereign. This means that God freely and unchangeably ordains all things that come to pass. However, God did not create evil and He does not violate the will of His creatures. This definition can be difficult to grasp. God is the creator, ruler and sustainer of the universe. Without Him none of what exists, would exist. Therefore, the sovereignty of God is that He created everythihng, rules over everything and sustains eveyrthing. This helps us better understand God as sovereign. Although, we should be careful, we will not fully understand the sovereignty of God in this life. And, when we are in His presence we will find that God is inexhaustible in His character. Meaning, that heaven will be the most joyfilled place for us because we'll spend eternity getting to know our infinite God.

My prayer for each of our families this week, is that God would continue to be the center of your lives and through that, He would be the sovereign God over your family.
