Our goal with this part of the Friday @ 5:00 is to give you, as the parent(s), resources to have conversations about Jesus, with your family.

Today in Chapel we talked about the presence of God in the tabernacle, the importance of God's glory and how the tabernacle points to Jesus. Looking at the tabernacle we see the sacrificial system that God established for the Israelites as a way to atone for their sins. This points to the truth that Jesus is the once for all sacrifice for our sin. When Jesus willingly gave up His life on the cross, He took on our sin and freely offers us forgiveness of our sin. We now have the opportunity to accept this amazing forgiveness and live our lives for Jesus!

This coming week is Thanksgiving! A wonderful holiday where we take time to focus on being thankful. During the week, spend time with your family asking them, "What are you thankful for?" Use this opportunity to talk to your kids about being thankful to God for the gift of Salvation. We can't wait to see you again on FRIDAY DECEMBER 5TH!!!
