Hello BVCS Preschool Families:

October is finally here!  Our Fall weather is sure to follow.  As we come into this new month we begin learning about Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Joseph and how God worked in their lives.  We will be learning about the cycle of water from clouds to rain and snow and rivers and lakes all the way to the ocean.  We will be doing some experiments and investigations of pumpkins and reviewing the alphabet and adding letters D, E and F.

In math, we will discuss what "2 by 2" means in connection with the story of Noah's Ark and directional words such as top, bottom, first and last.

Our new memory verse comes from Acts 5:29: “We ought to obey God.”  Our chapel friend Willie the Word Bird, has been teaching us that to obey means to do what God says, and what our parents say, and what our teachers say. And our amazing children are learning how to do just that.
