This week in Chapel, we talked about David as a shepherd and being faithful with the small potatoes God has given you. David was faithful to God while he was a shepherd. God anointed David as the next king of Israel, because David was more concerned with what God wanted, than what he wanted.
This weekend, take a moment as a family to ask each other, "Do we want what God wants more than what we want?"
4th-6th will have chapel from 9:15am-9:45am every Friday.
Kindergarten will have chapel from 10am-10:25am every Friday.
As always, you are welcome to join us as parents, we want you to be there. Please find the ability to watch the live stream below.
This year our theme is "David - Shepherd, King, Servant". This year we will be studying the life of David in Scripture. Our theme verse is 1 Samuel 13:14, "But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought out a man after his own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.” As we spend time in God's Word, the Bible, together this year, we will be asking one driving question, "Who sits on the throne in your heart?" It's my desire, as your Campus Pastor, to help lead our students, families and staff into ensuring it is God who sits on the throne in our hearts.
