This past week, our students gathered at our flag pole to spend time in prayer together. Our student Chaplains led us in praying over our school, community, state and nation. We ended our time praying for each other.

Our message this week in chapel was all about integrity. David expressed integrity as God cotinued to give him success. Integrity is choosing to do the right thing, even when no one is around and it's easy to do the wrong thing. 

Over the weekend, take a moment to discuss as a family, "what does integrity look like?"

This year our theme is "David - Shepherd, King, Servant". This year we will be studying the life of David in Scripture. Our theme verse is 1 Samuel 13:14, "But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought out a man after his own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.” As we spend time in God's Word, the Bible, together this year, we will be asking one driving question, "Who sits on the throne in your heart?" It's my desire, as your Campus Pastor, to help lead our students, families and staff into ensuring it is God who sits on the throne in our hearts.
