Join Us for Our First All-School Chapel
Dear BVCS Families,
One of the most beautiful parts of life at Big Valley Christian School is the way our community comes together—not just to learn, but to worship. On Monday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m. in the Worship Center, we will gather for our first All-School Chapel of the year. From our youngest preschoolers to our seniors, every student will lift their voice in praise to Jesus, hear God’s Word, and be reminded that we belong to something bigger than ourselves.
Our chapels aren’t just events on the calendar—they are an essential part of the BVCS difference. In a world full of noise, these moments center our hearts on Truth, unite us as one body, and remind us that every subject we study and every relationship we build is rooted in Christ. Chapels are one of the core times at BVCS where faith is nurtured, students are strengthened, and lives are transformed by the message of the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We invite you to pray with us as we launch this year’s Chapel theme, Holy, and ask God to use these gatherings to draw each student closer to Him. It is our prayer that when your child reflects on their time at BVCS, they will remember not just the lessons learned in the classroom, but the life-changing encounters with God that happened in Chapels like these.

Join Us for Back to School Weekend – August 16 & 17!
Back to School Weekend is almost here—August 16 & 17—and we have a wonderful opportunity to come together as a school family and bless our church community in a meaningful way.
Hosted by Big Valley Christian School, this special weekend is all about lifting up students, families, and especially educators in prayer as we head into a new school year.
Here’s how you and your family can participate:
✅ Stay after service for a BVCS-hosted fun zone under the sails—complete with games, Otter Pops, and connection time.
✅ Educators, enjoy a free café drink on us as a small token of our appreciation (just show your school ID).
We hope to see you at Church!
BVCS is excited to announce that lunch ordering is now open to all registered users at Big Valley Christian Elementary, Junior High, and High School. My Hot Lunchbox used local restaurants to create a lineup our students will love!
Our Elementary lunch lineup is as follows:
Monday - Farmer Boys
Tuesday - Panera Bread
Thursday - Panda Express
Friday - El Pollo Loco
Our Junior High and High School lunch lineup is as follows:

Welcome to a new school year at Big Valley Christian School! As your Campus Pastor, it is my joy and privilege to walk alongside our students as they grow not only in knowledge but in faith. This year, our theme “Holy: What is Truth?” from Philippians 2:12–13 will guide our chapel messages, conversations, and spiritual life on campus.
Our desire is to create a Christ-centered environment where students are encouraged to pursue truth, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and live boldly for Him. I’m excited to see how God will move in and through our school family this year, and I look forward to partnering with you in nurturing the hearts and minds of our students for His glory.

Sign up to volunteer for the Miracle League Fall Ball. This is a great opportunity to serve the community and show Jesus' love to these special athletes! Plus you can count the service hours! Games are Saturday mornings at BVCS.
