2023-2024 IMPORTANT DATES
Planning for the year? Check out the BVCS 2023-2024 Important Dates Calendar
We will be offering an exciting summer camp on campus in June and July. Your child will have a chance to learn, create, and play all in a Christ-centered environment. Students will explore subjects such as Bible, art, science, music, language arts, math, and P.E. through the lens of themed weeks.
Elementary Drop Off/Pick Up Traffic Plan 2023-2024
Morning Drop-Off Options:
Park and Walk-in: You may park in the North Lot and walk your child(ren) into the school through the North Gate. Students should not be dropped off to walk alone from the North lot. Our playground supervision for all TK- 6th grade students begins at 8:00 a.m. Any students arriving before 8:00 a.m. must go directly to X-care.
Drive thru Drop-Off: Our drive through drop-off location will be in the East Lot. To utilize our drop-off location, please drive down the canal entrance off of Tully Road.
Please be aware that we do not staff this drop-off location or our black top areas until 8:00 am. Students may not be dropped off prior to that time unless they are going to X-care and should be walked in by an adult. Students that are unattended prior to 8:00 a.m. will be sent to X-care.
After School Pick-Up:
Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten (No after school care) will pick up at 12:30 in the courtyard by the flagpole.
Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten (After school care) will pick up from 12:45-3:00 at room 608 or can be walked out to the drive-thru pick up lane.
Park and Walk in:
Parents that choose to park and walk-in to pick up their students will meet their student in the courtyard by the flagpole. For this option, we anticipate the best locations to park will be the North Parking Lot. Students that are not picked up by 3:10 will be walked over to X-care.
Drive-thru Pick Up: This location is for those parents who wish to remain in their car while picking up their children. To utilize this pick-up location, please drive down the canal entrance off of Tully Road. Only the students on the pick up list will be brought out to the East Lot for drive-thru pick-up. If your student is in Grade 1-3 please use the left lane, if you student is in Grade 4-6 please use the right lane, and if you have students in both please communicate with them what lane you will be using. Please put the colored document (given out at BTSN) with your students last name printed in large bold letters on your dashboard for easy identification. If you have more than one student, only place the colored document of your oldest student. This will help our staff get your student(s) to you.
*We understand that sometimes there are changes to the normal routine. In those instances, please inform the classroom teacher so we can adjust where your child will be picked up for that day.
Classroom Pick-up:
It may be necessary to call a classroom pickup due to air quality, air temperature at 100 degrees or higher, and rain. We will communicate this through email and text alerts.
Parent requests for the 2024-2025 school year must be submitted to krisg@bvcs.org by 5/24/24.
We are unable to make any guarantees but please understand that a lot goes into class placement and we will do our absolute best to meet the needs of our families.
We will be mailing home your student’s report card (and honor roll certificates for 4th - 6th grade students). To ensure receiving this important information, please be sure that all accounts are paid in full by June 20th (this includes tuition, extended care, library and textbook charges). Thank you for your cooperation as we seek to meet all of our financial obligations to conclude the year.
