HE IS RISEN!!!
Our goal with this part of the Friday @ 5:00 is to give you, as the parent(s), resources to have conversations about Jesus, with your family.
Praise God!!! Eleven students decided to get bapitzed during All School Easter Chapel. As a pastor this is one of my favorite moments. Getting to be part of someone's story, as God works in their lives, is a blessing and honor.
This past week in Chapel we had the opportunity to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus! The amazing truth and good news about this, is that we can celebrate the resurrection of Jesus every day! HE is Risen! What a blessing it is to know that Jesus currently sits at the right hand of God the Father. Because of His life, death, resurrection and ascension, we can find forgiveness for our sins and live our lives for Jesus!
This weekend is a great time to hit the pause button as a family and spend time remembering. Remember what God has done for us. Remember how many times God has forgiven us. Remind your children of what God has done for them and for you as a family. For those families whose students who were baptized, remind them of the celebration in that moment and the celebration in heaven! Take a few moments this weekend and talk about as family, why does God forgive us? Since God has forgiven us much, how should that inspire us to respond to others? Have a happy Easter Sunday!
Serve day is one week away Friday April 10th! This day will be a great opportunity for our high school students to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. All of our high school students will be serving alongside some of our local reach partners. This year students will be dropped off at their serve site at 9:00 AM and then picked up from their serve site at 3 PM. We are asking all students to bring a lunch. We are officially changing the name of Serve Day to Impact Day.
All High School students are expected to attend. Please sign up. Any student who does not sign up, a place to serve will be selected for you.
This year, students have the opportunity to choose which site they go to serve for the day. The sites are listed below. Below that is a link for a Google Form. Each site is limited to specific number of students. As sites fill up they will no longer be available for sign-ups.

High School students will be at Impact Day on Friday April 10th
BVCS TALENT SHOW!!!
On Friday April 17th, our Global Reach Class is hosting a BVCS Talent show, called LIONS GOT TALENT! We would love for everyone to be involved, Kindergarten through Seniors. If you have a talent you would like to showcase use the Google Form on this page to sign up. We can't wait to see the talents of our Student body. This talent show is specifically for BVCS students to sign-up. Parents, Grandparents, families and friends are welcome to come and watch the show. There will be a free dessert during the night, Heidi Rumble's homemade cinnamon buns! At the end of the evening our Global Reach students will be sharing about the mission trip they will be attending and asking for a donation.
