Our goal with this part of the Friday @ 5:00 is to give you, as the parent(s), resources to have conversations about Jesus, with your family.

Welcome back to Chapel!!! I'm so excited that I get to spend Fridays preaching God's Word to our BVCS Family!

This week we asked the question, Who do you follow? We spent time in Luke 10:38-42 talking about Mary, Martha and Jesus. Mary sat at the feet of Jesus listening to Him, while Martha was getting ready for a meal. Martha gets frustrated that Mary is not helping her and asks Jesus for help. Jesus responds by refocusing Martha on the truth that God is the most important person in our lives and Mary was doing what was best.

This week's Pastor Jeff's Chapel Challenge is: can each student read all of Luke chapter 10 before next Monday? Next week is Spiritual Emphasis Week and we'll spend five straight days in Chapel. We'll be going through the book of James and our theme is: Faith in Action! Chapel will be in the Worship Center, we can't wait to see you there!
